    Dear Bryna,

    I am so glad you decided to publish this. I was using the first part of your grandfather's memoirs "The Samurai of Vishogrod" in several of my Jewish history courses and the students loved it. You might consider republishing it as well. After all, we do not exactly have many memoirs of working-class Russian Jews available. Besides, your grandfather was clearly an incredible writer and an incredible person.
